A marine information workshop for industry will be held between 11th and 12th October, during the SeaTech Week in Brest, France. The event will address ways to employ publicly available resources to innovate in the Blue Economy, and will take place as a part of "A Connected Ocean" conference. It is co-organized by EuroGOOS and EMODnet, in collaboration with the PLOCAN Consortium, SmartBay Ireland, and Marine South East, UK, within the activities of the European Union H2020 COLUMBUS project, in which EurOcean is also a partner.
The workshop is designed for small and medium enterprises developing innovative applications with the use of marine data. Its goal is to facilitate a dialogue between these companies creating value-added products and services and the European marine data and observation community.
The SeaTech week is a good way to foster partnership and business as it will bring together about 1500 maritime innovation stakeholders and B2B meetings, Techno-Market and Brokerage events are organized.
