Maritime Activities

• In Romania aquaculture prduces 9.108 tonnes a year (2006) while the live catches of the fishing fleet amount to 6.665 tonnes.
• With a total gross tonnage of 2.606 GT (2007) the Romanian fishing fleets counts 440 vessels (2007).
• Romania trade in fishery products imports shows a deficit balance with more imports (108.011m€) than exports (48.928m€) in fishery products (2007).  
• The Sea transport of goods ascends to 48.928  Tt (2007).
